Kim Kardashian Tries To Repair Her Tarnished Image With a Humanitarian Mission To Haiti

Kim Kardashian is known more these days for her hasty trip to the altar and numerous television shows.
But the 31-year-old starlet has swapped her luxury lifestyle temporarily for a humanitarian trip to Haiti - some would argue in a bid to help her image after the backlash from her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.
Kim has reportedly accompanied actress Maria Bello to the country ravaged by a devastating earthquake nearly two years ago.

The Prime Suspect star, 44, co-founded a charity called We Advance to help the disadvantaged women in Haiti get medical treatment that they desperately need.
Its website says the organisation is striving to 'advance the health, safety and well being of women throughout Haiti' and working in 'some of the poorest slums in all of the Western Hemisphere.'
Us Weekly reports that Kim is along for the trip to help bring publicity to the cause.
Her mother/manager is also along for the trip along with designer Donna Karen, and actress Patricia Arquette.
'She's been there for two days,' a source told the publication. 'She says it's amazing!'
Although Kim has yet to tweet about the mission, she seemed to be in a very good mood yesterday.

'What a beautiful day today!' she wrote. 'You only live once, so go for it! Make the best of it! Xo.'
Kim will probably be glad of something else to focus on rather than her impending divorce from her estranged husband.
She infamously filed for divorce just over two months after tying the knot with the basketball player in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California.
The 26-year-old athlete was said to be very peeved after an appearance on Good Morning America yesterday where he was grilled about his failed marriage to Kim.
He was questioned by host Josh Elliot, who would not let up as Humphries tried to turn the conversation around to sport and charity awareness.

Sources close to the star say he is 'livid' in wake of the sit down chat - and was not expecting it to be so heavily laden with questions about his estranged wife.
Kris was accompanied by his mother Debra, who held his hands at times during the chat.
He repeatedly avoided questions about his divorce from the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star - only saying he was trying to 'move forward' with his life when asked if he was still in love with her.
'I'm not focused on that, right now I'm focused on basketball,' he said when asked about his proposed annulment from his short-lived marriage.
He also revealed that he is not watching himself on the Kardashian reality show, Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
When asked by the host if it was tough for him to watch himself on the reality show - considering he already knew the ending - he said: 'The only things I watch of myself on TV are me playing basketball.
'I have never really been someone to watch the show, on TV, or anything like that.'
His mother added: 'The important thing is that we stay close as a family - it's our faith in God that carries us through all of these times.
