The reality star has been placed on a watch list by the country's immigration department for breaching her visa application three times over four years.
Most recently Kim went Down Under last month to launch her new handbag range - but was on a tourist visa instead of a business one, the Daily Telegraph in Australia claims.
One to watch: Kim Kardashian has reportedly been placed on a 'watch list' by immigration authorities over work-related trips to the country on a tourist visa, pictured with Khloe at Sydney Airport last month
And according to the Telegraph, this didn't go unnoticed by the Department Of Immigration in Canberra.
Upon further investigation it was discovered she had made previous trips in 2007 and last year to promote Blonde beer and her reality show.
In the spotlight: The reality star paid her latest visit to the country last month with sister Khloe to launch a new handbag range
Alert: She took part in television and radio interview - and is also said to have made trips in 2007 and last year on a tourist visa
When asked for comment officials declined to comment specifically on the case, but did release a general statement on foreign people coming to work in Australia.
She made her latest trip days after announcing her split from husband Kris Humphries
'If people are undertaking work in Australia they need to be on an appropriate visa with work conditions attached.'
The statement went on: 'If people do breach conditions of their visa, then the department can counsel them or cancel that person's visa ... and the department may record their breaches and immigration history.
'Their history would then be taken into account if they apply for another visa to enter Australia.
'The identities of such people are then put on to a Movement Alert List.'
Kim's representatives did not immediately respond when contacted by MailOnline for comment.
Kim's estranged husband Humphries, meanwhile, is attempting to put off his divorce in favour of an annulment, but he still thinks he was used for her business ventures rather than for a serious marriage.
Although Kris, 26, is said to have really loved Kim, a friend told US website TMZ.com that he feels he was 'slotted in the plot line of Kim Kardashian's latest headline and newest business venture.'
He reportedly believes his wife never intended on staying married to him - but she just needed to boost ratings on her reality TV show.
