'He just saw what he wanted to See: ' Kris Humphries' Family Had 'Reservations About Kim From The Start'

The family of Kris Humphries had reservations about his relationship with Kim Kardashian from the moment he started dating the reality star.
RadarOnline.com reports that they were 'surprised' by the speedy intensity of the union between 26-year-old Kris and Kim, 31.
And they suggest that Kris had no time to remove his rose tinted glasses before Kim hit him with divorce papers just 72 days after their wedding.

'We expressed concern to him about his relationship with Kim,' a close family member told the website.
'We were quite surprised that it was as serious as it was with them. But he was just taken away by her, and you can't tell someone in love to open their eyes a little wider. He just saw what he wanted to see.'
The family member insists that Kris was genuinely in love with Kim and saw a long future with her, but before the honeymoon period was even over, there were already signs of trouble in the fairytale marriage.
'It was really hard on Kris that Kim and her family weren't very accepting to his side of the family, or very welcoming to them,' the mole revealed.

And they reiterated that although the Kardashians have been accused of staging the marriage and divorce for publicity, Kris was genuinely in love - then authentically heartbroken.
The insider said: 'Kris was very much blind-sided when Kim filed for divorce.'
But Kris is trying to move forward with his life, at last.
He sat down with Good Morning America last week to discuss how he's getting on with his life.
'For me it's just, certain things happen in life and you gotta move forward,' the basketball player said. 'I'm excited to be where I'm at right now with the NBA season coming up and I'm ready to go.'
He added: 'Through everything I'm just focused on family and preparing for basketball. Basketball has always been something I've taken really seriously and I continue to do that and I'm just moving forward.'
