Will You Marry Me? Kim Kardashian Accepts Kris' Proposal In Season Finale... After Clocking Her $2million Ring

 

Her fans have read all about Kim Kardashian's engagement in her magazine deal, but they finally got to watch the proposal tonight on the season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
In the last episode for season six, Kim is surprised when she arrives home to see her now-husband in her bedroom on bended knee and surrounded by rose petals that spell out 'Will you marry me?'
Kim is initially speechless, but when Kris opens the ring box to reveal an enormous $2million diamond she immediately blurts out 'Oh my God, yes.'

Surprise: After struggling with cold feet at first, Kris realises Kim is the girl for him and gets down on one knee

NBA player Kris, 26, hesitates in asking Kim, 30, to marry him after the couple get into a fight on the way to a dinner where he had planned on popping the question.

But he eventually overcomes his nerves, and as fans of the Kardashians know, the couple become engaged and tied the knot on August 20.

At the start of the episode Kris asks Kim's stepfather Bruce Jenner for his approval to propose to Kim during a golf game.

Dazzling: After Kris reveals the $2million engagement ring Kim's immediate response is 'yes'

After Bruce says gives his seal of approval, the men go back to the house to inform Kim's mother Kris Jenner about his plans.
He tells them that Kim's good friend Jonathan Cheban is bringing the engagement ring from New York.
Kris, as always, throws herself into the proposal plans, which she names Operation Pumpkin.

They meet up with Jonathan, who informs them that he was forced to send the ring with a Brink's security truck because of it's extraordinary worth.
Kris Jenner and her future son-in-law manage to take delivery of the precious delivery and smuggle it into Kim's Beverly Hills home while the oblivious paparazzi snap pictures.
The proposal hits another stumbling block when Kris appears to get cold feet.

On the drive to a family dinner in Malibu where Humphries had told Kris Jenner and Jonathan that he was going to pop the question, Kim and Kris argue over money.
Discussing their move later in the year to New York, where Kris plays basketball, Kim tells him she doesn't want to leave in his apartment, which she calls 'a college dorm.'
Kris is offended when she says: 'If we're going to New York you're going to have to get a nicer place.

Trouble in paradise: But things go awry when Kim and Kris have an argument on the way to the dinner where he planned to pop the question

'I'm not downgrading my life, it's just not worth it.'
'You mean I'm not worth it?' Kris asks. when Kim says she needs more privacy than what his home provides he tells her she is out of touch with reality.
After their argument, Kris 'psyches himself out' of popping the question, despite Kris Jenner and Jonathan's non-too-subtle hints over the dinner table.

We're engaged! Kim admires her new bling after accepting Kris' proposal

After consulting with his sister Kaela the next day Kris finally comes around and realises that Kim is the girl for him after all.
When Kim walks into her bedroom to find Kris down on one knee with his proposal spelled out in front of him in rose petals she tells him 'You're crazy,' to which he replied: 'You're perfect.'
The couple immediately go over to a family barbecue to inform Kim's family that they are engaged, where her mother produces miniature ponies, which Kris had joked during the 'Operation Pumpkin' meetings that he'd like to include in his proposal.

Congratulations! The Kardashians toast the upcoming nuptials, which will be aired on a two-part special in October

A preview of the two-part wedding special, to be aired in October, was shown at the end of the episode.
Fans are in for plenty more drama in the lead up to Kim walking down the aisle by the looks of the sneak peek, from groom Kris fighting with Kourtney and Khloe, to Kim turning into a 'bridezilla,' and breaking down over her father Robert Kardashian not being there to walk down the aisle.
Kim's Fairytale Wedding will air on October 9 and 10 on E!
