You can always rely on Kim Kardashian to put on a good show.
But tonight, the reality star really pulled out the stops, putting in an exceptionally elegant turn at her New York welcoming party.
The 30-year-old looked breathtaking in a beige form-fitting Victoria Beckham dress as she posed on the red carpet with husband Kris Humphries.

Newlywed Kim was the epitome of sophistication in the floor-length ensemble, which was embellished with a draped section above the waist.
With her dark hair swept over her right shoulder, she truly oozed some good old classic glamour.

 

Of course, Kim is quite the expert when it comes to making the camera love her.

The TV personality exhibited perfect poise, ensuring she stood with her legs crossed while being photographed - which makes for a more flattering, slimming picture.

Sister Kourtney was also at the bash and opted for a sexy LBD for the occasion.
The party was held at the historic Capitale in New York's Lower East Side and was dubbed A Night of Style & Glamour to welcome the newlyweds to the Big Apple, where they are currently filming spin-off reality show Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
Around 500 guests were due to attend, and included Kim's close friend La La  Vasquez.

The venue was originally the Bowery Savings Bank and built back in 1893.
Its interior features tall Corinthian columns and a stunningly decorated coved ceiling complete with glass skylight, making it one of New York's most exquisite ballrooms.
The Grand Ballroom itself can accommodate 700 guests for a seated dinner and more than double that for a strolling reception.

Later in the night Kim and Kris headed over to Souther Hospitality, where they caught a surprise performance by Justin Timberlake.
Kim and NBA star Kris are starting their married life in New York while they film for the E! reality show and have sett up camp in the presidential penthouse at the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue.
During tonight's party, the couple were presented with a giant cake reading: 'Welcome to NYC Kim & Kris.'
