Rob Kardashian's Emergency Hospital Visit

Rob Kardashian's sisters are going to start giving him the benefit of the doubt after tonight's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Audiences saw the famous sisters refuse to believe that their hard-partying brother was genuinely sick, dismissing his illness as 'just another hangover' for the 24-year-old.
In fact, Rob was suffering from appendicitis and ends up being rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

One good thing comes of the scare though - Rob patches his up his relationship with older sister Kourtney, after an extended period of frostiness between the pair.
The episode opened on Rob's 24th birthday party at The Mirage in Las Vegas, which Khloe and Kim both attend.
At dinner, the sisters tell Rob that Kourtney's feelings are hurt that she was invited to join in the celebrations.

The youngest Kardashian makes his excuses, saying Kourtney has a baby and no time to party in Vegas.
But he later reveals that it's Kourtney's partner, Scott Disick, who he has a problem with.
Despite the two men previously being close, Rob explains that Scott's drinking causes him to stay away, and therefore miss out on seeing his nephew Mason.

'The reason I don't come over here is because of Scott. He's an alcoholic! He's a negative person in my life. Like, [he] has a kid,' Rob tells the camera.
'When he punched the mirror in Miami, he showed his true colours, and I pretty much haven't spoken to them since that night.'
'Show me that you're mature and show me you're mature enough to have a kid with my sister.'

When Kourtney calls round to Khloe's house, where Rob lives, she doesn't believe him when he says he is too sick to get out of bed to talk to her about their problems.
Kourtney and Khloe make fun of poorly Rob, saying he's just had another night out partying and is simply hungover.
A day later he is still in bed, and middle sister Kim becomes concerned. She rushes to her mother's house and tells her to take Rob to the hospital.

When Kris collects him she sees that he is pale and sweating and can barely move.
Doctors reveal that Rob is suffering from appendicitis and whisk him to the operating theatre to perform emergency surgery.
Kourtney visits her brother at the hospital and the pair work out their problems. Rob promises to not let his feelings for Scott get in the way of his relationship with his sister and nephew.

Meanwhile... Kris becomes frustrates that Bruce is turning a deaf ear to her, and insists he has his hearing checked out

Home remedies: Khloe suggest Bruce do an ear candling to rid himself of excess wax, before a doctor tells him he's more than likely 'tuning out' his wife

Rob isn't the only one requiring medical attention in the episode. After becoming frustrated with her husband Bruce turning a deaf ear to her, Kris forces him to go to the doctor to have his hearing checked, but not before Khloe brings home an 'ear candling' kit to draw out his ear wax.
The doctors give Bruce a clean bill of health, and suggest that the former Olympian is simply 'tuning out' his wife's voice, something the doctor admits he is guilty of doing himself.
