Kim Kardashian Ditches The Heels For Comfortable Sandals To Travel To New York

It's rare to see Kim Kardashian without her trademark Louboutin heels, even when she's hopping on and off aeroplanes.
But the 30-year-old was forced to ditch them today for a whistle-stop visit to New York, where the temperature is peaking at 34 degrees celcius(93 farenheit).
It's not the kind of sweaty temperature for struggling out of an airport in fitted shoes, so the bride-to-be opted for pretty gold sandals instead.

Kim, who is to wed NBA star Kris Humphries, 26 , next month, opted for a flattering, floaty dress in shades of brown and taupe.
With one shoulder bare and her legs on full display, Kim wheeled her luggage through JFK airport looking ready to face the Manhattan heat,
The dress both flattered her curvy physique, which benefits hugely from the addition of heels, and allowed Kim keep her cool during a frenetic day of meetings - and a quick return to L.A.

However, it was business as usual later in the day when Kim joined close friends Lala Vasquez and Jonathan Cheban for a trip to the Manhattan outlet of her Dash clothing store.
The beauty donned vertiginous wedges with a pretty floral short-suit.
Upon landing she tweeted: 'New York what’s up? Just landed! Have some meetings then back to LA tonight! I’m gonna try to squeeze in as much as I can in 12 hours!'
On Sunday, Kim avoided the potential 'carmageddon' of Los Angeles by laying low and spending some time in the sun by her pool.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is currently in the final throes of organising her dream wedding.

Kim's sister Khloe is bringing a spot of levity to proceedings, after announcing to all and sundry that her sister is turning into a 'bridezilla,' she's planning a 'very embarrassing' penis-themed bachelorette party.

'Kim is very uncomfortable with all that stuff, so I'm going to go all out and embarrass her, because it's just fun,' Khloe told People.com.
