Family hope: Khloe Kardashian, pictured arriving at LAX on Tuesday, is trying for a baby with husband Lamar
But Khloe Kardashian now says she is relieved she did not fall pregnant before she and Lamar's recent move to Dallas.
'It's frustrating when you hear so many rumours because it makes you almost want to put pressure on yourself,' she told People magazine
'But looking back, I think everything happens for a reason.'
The 27-year-old reality star and her basketball playing husband moved to the Texas town last year when Lamar was transferred from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks.
Khloe added: 'I think, "Gosh, what if I did get pregnant last season or a few months ago? Or what if I had a newborn baby and all this trade stuff happened?"
'I don't think I could have dealt with everything at one time.
'Doing this trade and my husband's emotions and going through all that is so stressful.'
However, now that the couple are settled into their new home, Khloe says she and Lamar are still trying for a baby but with a more relaxed approach,
Baby love: Khloe Kardashian, pictured with husband Lamar Odom says she is relieved she did not fall pregnant before the basketball star moved to Dallas
'Last season, we were much more documenting, "Okay, when am I ovulating, when am I doing this?" And it was very stressful to do it that way, so we've stopped. Lamar and I definitely are letting nature take its course.'
The baby would be a first for Khloe, whose older sister Kourtney is expecting her second child.
New show: The couple's efforts to have a baby will be documented in the new season of their reality show Khloe and Lamar
Lamar is already a father-of-three from a previous relationship.
She and the sports star are busy promoting the second season of their spin-off reality show Khloé and Lamar which airs on U.S. network E! on February 19.
And it seems the new series will document the couple's baby making efforts, although Khloe says she is more than comfortable with sharing her private life with the cameras.
Supportive wife: Khloe and brother Rob pictured at a Dallas Mavericks game last months to watch Lamar in action
'For Lamar, it's different,' she said. 'He's still getting used to filming. There are standard cameras that are just placed in rooms.
'There's no film crew in those rooms. You see the black and white footage because Lamar's like, "I can't get my freak on with people here."'
