LeAnn Rimes and Surprise New BFF Kim Kardashian Bond Over Bible Study And Attend Church Together

They have both been hit with headline grabbing scandals during their time in the limelight.
So it appears that LeAnn Rimes and Kim Kardashian have something in common.
And now the two women appear to have bonded through a rather surprising activity - church.

 

A holy union: LeAnn Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian joined Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner for a church service at Life Change Community Church in Calabasas on Sunday

The 31-year-old reality star and the 29-year-old Country Music star visited the same place of worship in Calabasas on Sunday.
LeAnn attended the morning service at the Life Change Community Church with her husband Eddie Cibrian, while Kim arrived with her mother Kris Jenner, sister Kourtney and nephew Mason.
The ladies' outing comes as the pair had lunch together along with the church's Pastor Brad Johnson and America's Got Talent judge Howie Mandel the Friday before.

She paired the pure outfit with some towering platforms and a quilted leather handbag.
Her husband Eddie looked dashing as always in a pair of denim jeans and a white T-shirt with a charcoal knitted cardigan worn over the top.

The pair walked into the holy venue hand-in-hand.
Meanwhile Kim, 31, appeared to be in a happy mood as she took to her Twitter account to tell her followers: ‘Early morning workout done now off to church with the family... Have a great day everyone!’
She wore a simple outfit of wide-leg jeans, a stone-coloured tank top and a grey knitted waistcoat.

But while she kept her clothing casual, Kim compensated with a huge amount of gold jewellery including hoop earrings, several bangles and large star-shaped rings.
She also wore a pair of brown sunglasses and tied her newly dyed tresses into a high ponytail.

56-year-old Kris wore a smart and sophisticated ensemble of black wide-leg trousers, a white shirt and brown blazer, teamed with an oversized olive handbag.
Following the service on Sunday, Twitter-mad LeAnn posted: 'Thank you a great service @brad_s_johnson you made me cry. :)
She then added: '@KimKardashian great seeing you and the fam. See you soon xoxo.'
Kim then swiftly replied with: 'You too babe! See you soon! Xoxo.'

The church, which focuses on second chances, was founded in 2010 by Kris and Reverend Brad Johnson, and Kim revealed last year that she donates ten per cent of her earnings to the centre.
On Friday, Kim got together with LeAnn and Howie for lunch with Reverend Brad Johnson at the Rivera Restaurant.
The women were spotted locked in serious conversation as they made their way to the eatery.
LeAnn showed off her slim pins in a tiny pair of denim daisy dukes, paired with a checked shirt and yellow blazer.

She boosted her height in another pair of wedge heels and carried the same handbag.
Meanwhile Kim completely covered up her curves by pouring her voluptuous figure in a pair of billowing black trousers and a grey long-sleeve knit.
She also wore a pair of heels but opted for a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps and carried a giant Hermes handbag.

The weekend's outing comes after LeAnn revealed on Twitter she had had an operation, but didn't go into detail, just saying the procedure was minor.
She was spotted on the balcony of a beach house in a string bikini, enjoying the scorching rays also on Friday.
 The stylish two piece - one of the many in her collection - featured a pink, purple and white paisley design and she paired the number with a blue and white trucker hat.

A loyal friend was seen lathering sunblock on her back.
She later covered up in a white kaftan as she enjoyed a cold beverage.
The How Do I Live singer told her 241,000 Twitter followers earlier: 'K, coming clean....I had minor surgery this week and I've been in SO much pain it's not even funny. Nothing major just annoying! Pain pain go away!!!!!! When it's mouth pain and jaw pain it makes your whole head pound! YUCK'

She later revealed she had had 'facial surgery' and joked to a friend 'Lol that makes it sound like I got work done. You are gonna start some rumors'.
LeAnn added: 'The pain is subsiding finally for a moment. My head has been vibrating all day. Maybe the sand under my feet is helping.'
Both Kim and LeAnn have been hit with scandal since being in the spotlight.
LeAnn fell out of favour with many of her fans when she admitted to having an affair with Cibrian while they were both filming the Lifetime television movie Northern Lights in 2008, while she was still married to Dean Sheremet, one of her backing dancers.

Cibrian was also married - to make up artist Brandi Glanville.

Rimes' and Sheremet's divorce was finalised in June 2010 while Glanville and Cibrian's split was completed in the following September, allowing LeAnn and Eddie to marry last year.
Meanwhile Kim recently came under fire following the collapse of her union with basketballer Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage.
