Kim Kardashian denies living the high life while on charity mission

Kim Kardashian has decided to give her account of a visit she and 'momager' Kris Jenner made to Haiti earlier this month.
The 31-year-old headed to the Caribbean country, which was hit by a devastating earthquake in 2010, to learn more about the charity We Advance, which is in part 'a movement to advance the health, safety, and well being of women throughout Haiti.'

Kim was switched on to the charity by Prime Suspect actress, Maria Bello, but many of her detractors felt the timing, if not the genesis of the connection, was suspicious.
The reality star has been accused of trying to rehabilitate her tattered image at the expense of others, and some reports of her time in Haiti have her attending a fashion show and hiding away at spas.
Today, she slammed these rumours on her Celebuzz blog.

She wrote: 'Our mission was to learn more about [actress Maria Bello's] charity, We Advance, meet the Haitian people who have made such amazing progress since the devastating earthquake in 2010, and celebrate the women of Haiti, who inspired me more than I ever could have anticipated.
But when Kim returned home, she says she saw 'malicious' reports that say she 'spent a fortune' on herself in Haiti.

She explained: 'While my experience was completely life-changing ... a very emotional and surprisingly positive journey that I will never forget, some media outlets have tried to tarnish the motive behind my visit and have written completely ridiculous and untrue things.'
'The truth is that I was at the Haitian Artisan Fair, where the amazing men and women who make their jewellery and crafts sell them to visitors to make a living, and I bought some beautiful jewelry!' 
'I have some really great stories and photos from my trip and I'm so excited to share them with you all,' she added.
And Kim kept to her word almost immediately by blogging about the Leanna Archer Foundation, which was founded by a young girl who pioneered a small business selling her own hair products.
While in Haiti, Kim and Kris, spent time looking around the nation's capital Port-au-Prince and visited orphanages with charity Sow A Seed.
Sow a Seed, a registered non-profit, volunteer-based organization, works with struggling orphanages in Haiti, assisting them with food, shelter, education and healthcare.

The recently single star showed her compassionate side and played with some of the children and showed off her moves in a dance workshop.
The Kardashians have come under fire recently from some of Hollywood's elite because of their TV shows and growing media empire.

Maria and Kim went to visit and celebrate women the charity works with and the reality star told fans the experience was ‘incredible’ and posted a picture to her blog showing  herself and Maria, her mother Kris and Patricia Arquette, who was also in the party.
Kim and Maria also wrote a blog post for The Huffington post about their experience and explained what they were doing.

Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Indulges Her Shopping Cravings On Rodeo Drive

All pregnant women usually succumb to cravings at some point or another.
And today it seems expectant Kourtney Kardashian had a taste for shopping.
The 32-year-old reality star paid a visit to the most exclusive retail street in Los Angeles today, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

She was spotted walking with a Gucci bag in hand and looked stylish in a floopy hat, leggings, white blouse, jacket and knee-high leather boots.
Kourtney announced her pregnancy last month. She is expecting her second child with Scott Disick in the spring.
But in the meantime her toddler son Mason is keeping her busy.

The youngster recently turned two years old and was thrown an extravagant party by his grandparents Kris and Bruce Jenner at their Calabasas home on Saturday.
One guest told Life & Style magazine it was a Wild wild West theme, describing: 'There were haystacks, ponies, goats and pigs.
'The front yard was literally turned into a petting zoo - it was awesome.'

There were also burgers and cakes for the children and adult attendees, with bandannas and cowboy props.
His uncle Rob Kardashian - who competed in the last season of Dancing With The Stars - bought his nephew a miniature grand piano.
The event was planned by Sharon Sacks, who also organised Kim's California wedding to Kris Humphries back in August.

On the E! show she said: 'Mom - I’m not going to do it! Do you not understand? You’re trying to make this bigger and bigger and it’s embarrassing me.'

Kardashian Family Black Tie Christmas Card

She usually favours curve-hugging dresses, but Kim Kardashian decided for a suited and booted look for her family's latest photo shoot.
The reality TV star, 31, joined her famous clan in a sleek portrait taken by photographer Nick Saglimbeni for their yearly Christmas card.
It was clearly a black tie affair, with her siblings also skipping cheesy festive sweaters for an altogether more sophisticated look.

Kourtney, 32, who is pregnant with her second child, vamped it up in a leather pencil skirt, white shirt and fur stole and kinky metallic-trimmed heels which she slipped on over stocking socks. 

The Jenner girls, who are both still teenagers, both dressed well beyond their years for the photograph.

The men - Rob Kardashian, 24, Bruce Jenner, 62, Khloe's basketballer husband Lamar Odom, 32, and Kourtney's partner Scott Disick, 28 - all wore sharp tuxedos for the occasion.
The family's matriarch Kris Jenner, 56, provided the only splash of colour with a slinky and sparkly teal dress.
But it was little Mason, 1, who stole the show in his too cute trousers, bow-tie and braces.
In an effort to ensure the card is truly eye-popping, the family also provided a 3D edition.
Kim wrote on her blog today: 'Here it is! Our 2011 Kardashian/Jenner family Christmas card!!!
'It was shot by the amazing Nick Saglimbeni and there’s a special 3D version that you can view with 3D glasses. What do you guys think?
'I love our family Christmas cards shoots and I think this one looks amazing!'
Of course, Kim is spending the holiday season as a single woman following her split from husband Kris Humphries earlier this year. 
She had initially intended to release Christmas cards featuring her wedding photo and even placed an order with a high-end stationery company.
But she was forced to rethink her season's greetings after filing for divorce just 72 days into their marriage.
Khloe, meanwhile, is adjusting to a new life in Texas following her NBA star husband's transfer to the Dallas Mavericks player.
The couple are currently hunting for an apartment in the city.

She decides it would be far worthier to have a local party at a West Hollywood hotel, and asks guests to bring toys for sick children at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
And she explains her reasoning behind the decision, saying: 'For my mom to be like, "Oh, we're going to have this huge extravagant party," and to think those kids can't even go to a party because they're sitting in a hospital bed, it's just really sad.'

Perhaps the most amusing moment of the show was when she managed to fail her driving test, despite the fact she is not even using a manual gear stick.

'Some of my friends watch the show and they don't know that I sobbed.
'So embarrassing. Ugh, I'm not watching it.'
