'I am really proud of the ad:' defends Old Navy commercial

Kim Kardashian is suing Old Navy for $20 million, claiming they illegally used her likeness in one of their TV commercials.
But Melissa Molinaro, the Kim look-alike who starred in the now famous ad, has spoken out in defence of her performance.
The 29-year-old star told People magazine she is 'really proud' of the ad which is currently running on U.S television.

'It was a great shoot and I was honoured to be chosen from the auditions which included more than 500 other girls held in different cities,' she said.

Reality star Kim was left furious when Old Navy hired Melissa to appear in several TV commercials which quickly became a viral hit all over the internet.

Kim filed her federal lawsuit against Old Navy in Los Angeles last week, asserting that the company are using the double in order to make people believe she is associated with the label.

She is suing the company for 'the unauthorised use of Kardashian's name, likeness, identity, and persona.'
Represented by intellectual property attorney Gary Heckler, Kim's representation told the MailOnline she is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
However possibly adding fuel to her fire is the rumoured romance between Melissa and Kim's ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush.
The exotic beauty is best known for being a competitor on the 'Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search For The Next Doll' and also P. Diddy's hit show 'Making The Band,' where she just missed out on becoming part of now defunct female group, Danity Kane.
Melissa also scored a major role in the dance/romance film 'Honey 2', the follow up to Jessica Alba's original flick, Honey, but it went straight to DVD in the U.S.
She also recently released her début single and video 'Dance Floor', where she is seen prancing around and posing in an array of leotards and skimpy bathing suits that show off a rounded derrière, similar to Kim's.
