L.A. Laker Lamar Odom and his wife, Khloe Kardashian (pictured right), have made no secret about their desire to have children. Apparently, there's a reality show being pitched surrounding the topic.
In the meantime, Odom is suing his ex-lady, Liza Morales (pictured below), for visitation rights to see his children, daughter, Destiny, 12, and son, L.J., 9, who live in Manhattan with their mother.
In the meantime, Odom is suing his ex-lady, Liza Morales (pictured below), for visitation rights to see his children, daughter, Destiny, 12, and son, L.J., 9, who live in Manhattan with their mother.
The suit supposedly shocked Morales because for the last four years she's been asking Odom to spend time with the kids:
"Lamar basically checked out as a father four years ago," Morales told The New York Post. "They [Destiny and L.J.] haven't had quality time in a long time."
Odom is also seeking to reduce his child support payments, even though he signed a nice 4-year $33-million contract last year. He also inquired about getting his children involved with the upcoming reality show, but Morales isn't down with that:
"It has come up, and I told them no," she said. "I'm trying to raise my kids with old-school values."
Odom and Morales broke up in 2006, shortly after their 6-month-old child died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The death seems to be what broke up the relationship, according to Morales:
"When we lost our son, he [Odom] was nowhere to be found," she said. "[Since then] I always had to be the one to ask him, Lamar, do you want the kids? This whole going to the court thing -- people, my neighbors -- I don't want them to think this is the kind of Mother I am, that he has to go to court for visitation. It's just really shocking, because Lamar knows the truth."
Odom has yet to comment outside of the lawsuit.
