The Kardashian charm was in full force at the Today show on Monday, November 29 when Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe stopped by to talk to Matt Lauer about their new book, Kardashian Konfidential. The girls shared some insight into what we can learn about their family, fame, and fortune.
“We wanted to tell our story of who we were before we had the TV show. We share lots of personal letters from our dad and our grandparents and fun recipes and stories of how we were raised and beauty tips and style tips and kind of dress for your body type. It’s like a girl’s guide to everything we learn.“The cool thing is that we also explain how being in a blended family, just adapting to that lifestyle, but from three different perspectives, that’s what’s so special about this book.”
We really liked this interview, as it is one that expressed the strong working ethic that their father, the late Robert Kardashian, instilled in all of them before he passed away. Khloe and Kourtney talked about how all of them were cut off financially once they got to college, so it was ingrained in them from the beginning that they would need to work in order to support themselves. This was a valuable lesson that they took with them when embarking on their own business opportunities.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Kardashian interview without some product placement advertising. When talking about Black Friday at the 1:51 mark, Kim mentioned that due to their fame, the sisters were unable to participate in the yearly shopping tradition this time around, but that all of them had wanted to go to Target at 4 am. Somehow, Target is seeming more appealing to us now…we wonder why…
