She may be a successful TV star who enjoyed a fairytale wedding, but for most of her life Khloe Kardashian was bullied mercilessly.
In a new interview this week, the statuesque star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, said she was called 'fat' and 'ugly' throughout school and it was the love of her sisters that saved her.
She says: 'Having someone in your class call you fat, ugly, too tall and so on, you start to think all those things about yourself. And if you're like me, those words are played on repeat inside your head.'

But yesterday she shone with happiness as she stepped out to buy some jewellery at popular Beverly Hills store, XIV Karats.
Perhaps it was a gift for her step-dad Bruce Jenner. This morning she Tweeted: 'Morning!!! Today is Bruce's birthday!!!! Happy birthday Bruce. I love you'.
Khloe says it was her family that saved her from despair during the most difficult period of her life.
Her petite and super-slim sisters Kim and Kourtney were the very people who saved her from feeling terrible.
'When I was at home, I felt loved and safe. My sisters were always a safe haven for me. I knew they would always play with me and make me feel like I was one of them,' she told US magazine Life & Style Weekly.
Pizza lover: The reality star hasn't let bullying stop her from enjoying herself as she picked up fast food during a night on the tiles earlier this month
She also addresses the problem of bullying among school students, saying: 'Now we have so many more social outlets, so many ways to be stalked and bullied.
'If social media is too much for you to handle, then don't have a Twitter or Facebook account, Just be yourself. Be who you want to be.'
Although Khloe recently accused celebrity blogger Perez Hilton of making her life a misery, she still doesn't feel revenge is necessary.
'I don't believe in revenge' she says. 'When people are bullies it's because of a deeper-rooted issue - either their family life is tough or they're being bullied by someone bigger than they are. Revenge is not what I ever wanted.'
Khloe recently confronted Perez about his attitude after he asked her to address bullying on her website as part of his anti-bullying campaign following a recent spate of teen suicides in the US.
Khloe was initially shocked at the request because the blogger has tormented her for years.
In response she posted an emotional and moving seven-minute message online, in which she criticised him for making her feel insecure.
She said: 'Perez Hilton asked me himself to do this video and he's doing such an amazing thing by getting all these celebrities to speak up to people but, for me, Perez has been my personal bully.
Happy in love: Khloe and her Lakers playing husband, Lamar Odem married in September 2009 after dating for just one month
'I've been bullied, basically, my entire life. I've been compared to my sisters since the day I was born. I don't look exactly like them... I'm bigger than them, but I'm me...I'm just always told how big I am... It's always something.
'I've always struggled with my weight, I've always struggled with my height, with my hair colour, with my skin colour... and Perez is a major factor (of bullying) in my adult life... I thought bullying would be done, but, in my world, it's not done.'
She added: 'No matter what, you can always work out of it, you can always move past it. I don't think anybody should ever take their life for being bullied.
'But if it wasn't for my family... and my circle of friends, I could definitely see why someone would see it doesn't get any better than this, but it does. Life is so beautiful.'
